Picking Pumpkins
The family went to the Saginaw Pumpkin Patch for a few photos and to pick out some pumpkins for Halloween. Cameron found some huge pumpkins. She was so amazed by them that she wanted to hug and kiss them all. Later she helped Mom and Dad pick out three perfect pumpkins. One of which was just her size. Then she and Dad spent a little time in the bounce house.

Surprise from Canton
Canton's First Monday Trade Days are famous for their quantity of vendors and wide variety of merchandise. I went on a teacher's day out shopping adventure with some of my cohorts from the Ridge. In my quest to find something fun for Cameron, I came across this vendor that sells spruced up ceiling tiles that double as peg boards. I thought that every little diva needs somewhere special to hang her artwork. Today I caught her on top of her desk admiring her new decor.

The Look
I remember my mom telling me that I would often give her this look like she was either A: Stupid, B: Crazy, or C: Just Go to H***. When I took these pictures of Cameron, I wondered if this might happen to be the same look that was often given to my parents when I was a teenager. I'm a little scared that she may have already figured out "THE LOOK" and she's only 2. Even though she's a spitting image of her Dad, I can see a whole lot of myself in the "attitude". Don't get me wrong, she's a very well behaved kid. However, her perceptiveness is a little unnerving. I am so glad that 16 is a long time from now. We're just going to cherish this little look because right now it doesn't mean choice "C".

Not So Tall Drink of Water
I'm sure you all remember drinking from the waterhose at one time in your life. Watching Cameron drink from the hose that was supposed to be watering our tree took me back to my childhood. I can still remember the cold metalic taste of the that well water! By the time she was done with her drink she needed a new change of clothes.
Hiding Out
Cameron's latest trick is to hide in small places. She'll hide anywhere and sometimes thinks she's hiding just because she can't see us. This behavior reminds me a little of her Uncle Clay. He also liked to hide, although Cameron is smart enough to figure out how to get out of her hiding spots. (sorry Clay) Here are a few pics of her various adventures.

Oh How We've Grown
Cameron and her friend Hannah met for the first time a year ago. Hannah's mom and I work together teaching 3rd grade. Anna (Hannah's mom) and I knew right from start that the girls could really enjoy growing up together. They are just 3 days apart in age and believe it or not the same size. We have really enjoyed this year getting to know Hannah and her parents. They are truly great friends that we feel blessed to have met here in the "big city". Check out the girls' first photo together and the one just taken. My how they have grown!
Visiting the Grandparents (all of them!)
We have spent the month of June traveling all over the state of Texas (not really) visiting Cameron's proud grandparents. Our first stop was in San Angelo for the annual B&W trailer company picnic. This year Cameron was big enough for her own t-shirt. She had a great time at the river. She and Mimi even had a little peach cobbler together. We also made several trips to visit with GiGi who was in the hospital.
After a short stay at home we were off again. This time to Mathis. There Cameron was able to play with her cousin Ella and spend a little time with Memaw, Papa, Grandmama, Nana and Granddad.

Mom & Tot Gymnastics (Dad too)
We took Cameron to her gymnastics class on Tuesday. She had a blast playing with all of her little friends. We are a little biased, but we think she just may have a knack for the sport. At least we hope, since she'll be lucky if she's even 5 feet tall someday.
Check out the great little leotard that Dad got for her. Who knew they came so small.
